Corporate HealthNet Plus group medical insurance scheme
This group scheme provides superior in-patient and out-patient medical insurance at a reasonable premium. When your employees use the medical card in our network clinics, they enjoy full cover and there are no consultation fees to pay (except co-payment) and no claim procedure to follow. This medical insurance plan also comes with a range of free cover.

Which types of business and employees should enrol?

  • Companies with 5-50 employees looking for protection for their employees´ health
  • Prefer a medical card for network clinics to save the hassle of claim administration
  • Full time employees and their spouse who are aged under 65
  • Employees´ unmarried children aged between 15 days and 17 years old, or under 23 if in full time education

Plan features and merits

  • Medical insurance cover: Basic cover includes Hospital and Surgical Benefit. You can also select optional Clinical Benefit (including diagnostic tests and treatments by general practitioners, specialists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, Chinese herbalists and bonesetters).
  • Free cover: Hospital Cash Benefit, Top-up Medical Benefit, Dental Benefit (if Clinical Benefit is chosen) and Bupa Worldwide Assistance Programme are offered for free.
  • Extensive network of clinics: There are more than 1,600 clinics and diagnostic centres in our medical providers network.
  • Full cover for out-patient benefit: Full cover is provided when the medical card is used at a clinic and diagnostic centre within our network. Bupa will pay all eligible expenses to the clinic directly so your employees have no bills to pay and no claim procedure to follow.
  • Free choice of non-network doctors: Members have free choice of non-network doctors with a different benefit limit.
  • Special offer for child subscription: Only the subscription of one child will be charged when more than one child from the same family join the plan.
  • Guaranteed membership transfer*: We guarantee the acceptance of membership transfer to the ward level of the Bupa CarePro medical insurance plan regardless of your health conditions when you retire or quit your job. After the transfer, you will enjoy lifetime protection, including pre-existing illnesses developed and covered during your group membership.
  • Benefit level options: It is easy to fit your company´s budget with the choice of ward, semi-private or private room level.
  • Options of reimbursement and co-payment: You have the options of no co-payment, HK$20 or HK$30 co-payment under the network out-patient benefit. For the non-network benefit, you can choose between 80% and 100% reimbursement.
  • Simple administration: Claim payment will be credited to the employee´s bank account directly. Employees can check claim status online on the Bupa website.
  • Easy enrolment: The participating employees are not required to take medical examinations, go through individual underwriting or make health declaration.
