Bupa has proudly received two awards
Hong Kong,23 May 2012
For the tenth consecutive year, Bupa Hong Kong has proudly received the Caring Company Award from The Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The award recognises our ongoing commitment to our local community; using our healthcare expertise to keep people healthy, as well as providing support to those who are unwell. Launched in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme aims to build a caring community spirit and help the underprivileged through cultivating corporate citizenship and strategic partnership among businesses, the public and non-profit making organizations. In 2011 Bupa Hong Kong contributed to its local community with numerous events, raising over HK$8.2m for people with preventable blindness alone. In 2012 we will launch "Walking for Your Health" again, a local event that aims to help people become healthier through sustainable activity. Additionally our free and accessible healthcare information and tools are available to everyone online, meaning our healthcare expertise benefits increasing numbers of local people.
In addition to the Caring Company Award, Bupa has been awarded the "Superbrands – Hong Kong's Choice Award" for the ninth consecutive year. This award is presented by the international brand authority - Superbrands Council and judged by consumers and marketing professionals in the industry. An award that recognises brand favourability amongst consumers provides reassurance that our dedication to providing incomparable healthcare expertise along with an empathetic and personalised service aimed at keeping people well, and caring for them when they most need support is what people in Hong Kong want from their healthcare provider. Managing Director of Bupa Hong Kong, Ann Coughlan commented "We are delighted with the award and will build on our current success to provide more and even better service".
