How to participate in the "Pregnancy Care Programme"

The programme is applicable to all Bupa members¹--whether you or your partner is covered by a Bupa individual or group medical scheme, even if you have not subscribed to our maternity benefit. Matilda International Hospital - To Prepare before Admission

When labour has begun, the mother-to-be will show several signs such as labour pains and leaking amniotic fluid and bleeding. To avoid being in a spin, you are recommended to pack for delivery one month before the due date. Matilda International Hospital has specially prepared some supplies for mothers-to-be, including toiletries, slippers, towels, hair dryers, pajamas, clothes and blankets for newborn babies, diapers, and sanitary napkins, so you will merely need to bring the following items to the hospital:

• At least 3 changes of own night clothes (if prefer not to use the hospital ones provided)

• Disposable underwear

• Socks

• Nursing bras

• Moisturiser for lips and/or face mist spray

• Comfortable clothes and shoes to wear home

• Anything your partner may need if they are staying with you

• Top up formula (if wish to supplement baby's diet)

• Clothes, wraps, and a travel-safe carrier to take baby home
